Dr. Suman Bijlani
MD, DGO, FCPS
Dr Suman Bijlani is a leading gynaecologist and obstetrician having her own private practice since 1995, when she passed her MD from the prestigious KEM Hospital. Since then, she has delivered more than 10000 babies and has performed numerous surgeries. She treats more than 50 patients in her outpatient clinic everyday and is the owner of her own private nursing home which she set up in 2002. She has trained as a hysteroscopic and laparoscopic surgeon from the AV Institute, Bangalore and has completed her ultrasound training in obstetrics and gynaecology
She is an infertility specialist and performs IUI at her clinic.
She has recently completed her Diploma in Guidance and Counselling. She has been undertaking sex education lectures for teens and preteens as part of the FOGSI initiative in collaboration with Johnson and Johnson.
She is an avid reader and has attended numerous conferences and workshops, national and intenational, updating herself continually on the advances in gynaecology.
Throughout her career, she has been an outstanding student and had been a topper in the 12th Board Examinations and a gold medallist in MBBS. She has won various awards and scholarships for her meritorious performances. It has always been her endeavour to add value to whatever she does and has always maintained the highest ethical standards in her practice.
