No sooner  woman  is known to be pregnant, she is bombarded with diet advices from family, relatives, friends and acquaintances – “Eat double the amount of food, as you are now eating for two”, “Eat more ghee, to ensure smooth delivery”, “Do not eat heaty foods like papaya, bajra as it can cause abortion”, “Eating foods black in color like jamun produces dark-skin babies, while eating more white food items like curd & milk makes baby fairer” and so on.
